Andrew Traficante - Partner, Research Director
Armed with an excellent education acquired first through his Queens University, Kingston history degree, and buttressed by his later University of Edinburgh Education studies, Andrew is a multi-dimensional intellect. Music, sport, philosophy, politics and a wide array of cultural pursuits contribute to Andrew's many professional interests, including his Sault Ste Marie work as a teacher and writer. His personal quest to gain a deeper, more nuanced understanding of the Francis Clergue story grounded his Tagona Creative partnership with Bryan Davies. Its unique research demands have taken Andrew from Lake Superior's rugged Michipicoten Harbour, to previously unmined Clergue materials buried in the National Archives, obscure Bar Harbour Maine libraries, abandoned rail lines, and the dusty, forgotten former St. Mary’s Paper record vaults - Andrew knows them all.
